In a creative twist, Taconic Opera finishes its 15th season by taking Donizetti’s famous comic opera, Daughter of the Regiment, into the future. This hilarious comedy centers around an abandoned baby girl who is lovingly raised by a regiment of soldiers. Upon emerging into womanhood, it’s discovered that she’s an aristocrat’s daughter. Her ascent into high society proves full of laughs. Performances at White Plains High School, at 7:30pm on May 11, and 2pm on May 12.
