SAT, JAN 5: Viva, Viva La Befana!

Westchester Italian Cultural Center presents Viva, Viva La Befana! a musical retelling of the Italian Christmas folk tale of La Befana, a kind, old woman who delivers gifts to children on January 5, the eve of the Epiphany. Sing, dance and enjoy this family friendly event,10:30am-12pm. Registration in advance is a must.

SUN, JAN 6: Neil Berg and Rob Evan’s 2013 Broadway Spectacular
Dynamic composer, producer and pianist Neil Berg shares the stage with Broadway star Rob Evan to co-host Irvington Town Hall Theater’s 2013 Broadway Spectacular. Current and past Broadway stars will recreate moments from the Great White Way along with some of their favorite tunes. Don’t miss this popular event that’s like having Broadway in your very own living room! Show begins at 7:30pm.

Steffi Nossen School of Dance invites the Westchester community to participate in all dance classes free of charge during its Free Week of Dance Series, January 7-12. With two studio locations in White Plains and Chappaqua, Steffi Nossen offers classes that appeal to the diverse interests of dance students of all levels.

TUE, JAN 8 TUE, JAN 22: Antiques Lecture & Appraisal Series

New Castle Historical Society hosts its annual Antiques Lecture & Appraisal Series, 10am-12pm on Tuesdays, January 8, 15, and 22, at the Chappaqua Library. At each session, an antique specialist will lead a discussion on their field of expertise, followed by verbal on-the-spot appraisals of items brought by audience members (limit two items per person).

WED, JAN 9 – SAT, JAN 26: Black and White
Mamaroneck Artists’ Guild ushers in the New Year with Black and White, an exhibition of black-and-white themed fine art in a wide variety of media, including oil, watercolor, printmaking, pastel, fiber, photography, jewelry, and sculpture. Runs January 9-26, with an opening reception Saturday, January 12, 3-5pm.

Clay Art Center is at ArtsWestchester!
Parents, sign your kids up now for clay classes at ArtsWestchester, presented by Port Chester's Clay Art Center. CAC's new satellite studio at ArtsWestchester's building in downtown White Plains provides classes for youth ages 6-10, to explore the fun-filled world of ceramic art!
