Haunted Houses in New York

Haunted Houses in New York

The ghosts at the haunted houses in New York definitely have an Empire State of Mind. They love to expand to new areas and are always looking to live it up. So when throngs of people invade their privacy during October, they get pretty angry. If you love to be scared, you should take advantage of that fact by visiting the New York haunted houses.
New York City
In the shadow of New York City, millions of immigrants departed boats having journeyed thousands of miles for a new life in America. Those that failed in their new land have taken residence at a few key haunted houses around the city.
Long Island
The most populated island in the United States has a population of seven million according to the 2010 census. With such a large number of people, is it any wonder that Long Island has a number of haunted houses?
Buffalo
There are so many ghosts related to the Buffalo Bills legendary defeat in four Super Bowls in a row that we wouldn't even know where to begin here. We're surprised that there aren't more Buffalo haunted houses.
Rochester
The haunted houses around Rochester are filled with spirits upset that their aura has been captured by film. Now that we've reached the digital age, I'm guessing they are upset about their low number of youtube views.
Syracuse
The ghosts around Syracuse are pretty salty old dogs. Might have something to do with the fact that the majority of salt used in the United States prior to 1900 came from Syracuse.

You knew that there were going to be a couple haunted houses in the vicinity of the capital of New York and home to the New York state legislature.
Poughkeepsie
Among the hills and the Hudson River, you'll find a number of scary creatures that have wandered north from the city and now call Poughkeepsie home during October.
